During Light & Building in Francfort April 11-16, Ferraz Shawmut will launch the new Linocur. Linocur is the market-leading product in the segment of switch-disconnector-fuse for D0 fuse links (Neozed). The application is Power Low Voltage Distribution in the DIN Standard segment.
Linocur is a compact combination of a load break and disconnecting switch with a D02 fuse base.
The key features of the existing generation are kept unchanged in the new product. As a reminder for the essential:
- IP20 finger-safe protection
- modularity with 27mm per pole (DIN 43088)
- free of halogen, UL Listed V0, RoHS compliant
- AC22B and AC23B up to 50A

Peter Brogl, chef de produit, introduces the new features of the Linocur 7th generation :
"First of all we design a new screw cap to ease the insertion and the removal of fuse links in the switch. A 90° turing is enough now to lock the Linocur compared to the 540° turning for the previous generation. The workers building panels with several devices will appreciate the improvement. Important to stress that the screwing system provides a very good contact pressure and consequently low heating."
"The second new feature to highlight is the new and improved terminals, the same as for our Innozed fuse base, providing dual terminals on both sides, cable size from 1.5 up to 35mm2 and wiring bars placed behind the input cables."
"And last but not the least, a monitoring capability is available as an accessory. The operation of the switch or the fuse link status can be monitored or both when required."
