Environment  

How to protect the environment during all steps of products life cycle ? That is the question we are working to respond the more suitable way in all our locations and for all our products.

With industrial activities mainly based on assembling, whatever automatic or manual, direct environmental impacts of our plants are weak compared to the chemical or steel industries, particularly regarding energy and water direct consumptions. For more information, visit ISO 14001 certification

At the same time, electrical and electronic industries had to face a new dramatic awareness of impacts resulting from our accelerated development which involves real improvement directions :

• Power efficiency and energy savings are at the heart of our actions to fight against the global warming :
  many of our products are integrated in control command equipment which are used to organize power efficiency and in alternative energy such as air based or photovoltaic production and distribution equipment,
• Valorisation of waste of electrical and electronic equipment :
  fuses as consumables are placed more quickly than other electrical industrial equipment in front of such needs. See page recycling.
• Environmental impact along the whole life cycle,
  ensure the same protection function level while reducing our consumption of natural resources « rare » particularly metals, ensure an optimal life duration thanks to accelerated ageing tests, operate with a total environmental safety – air, water, land – thanks to the concept of close melting protecting totally the environment even at the key time of the melting protection see Arc Flash Info Center™
• Impact of substances contained in products and substitution of substances with identified risks.
  Early understanding of substances regulations like RoHS in Europe or China, or even REACH which will impact all industry during the next ten years coming allows us to better support our customers and bring a full technical expertise service on our products, even while they are not directly in the scope of such regulations.
