Protistor NH gS

The 'must' in a standardized installation

With the goal of optimizing the protection of drives and other power converters, Ferraz Shawmut launches the gS-class NH Protistor 690V fuses. For the user it means a triple advantage :

• Protistor means unmatched performances in the field of power semiconductor protection

• gS class (as defined by the EN 60269-4 standard) means reliable I2t and protection against all type of overloads

• NH standard (blade-style fuses) means the capability for installing in any type of NH fusegear: bases and holders, disconnectors, switch-disconnectors.

In short, outstanding electrical features while taking advantage from a standardized installation. Using the gS-class NH Protistor it's also the opportunity to remove the gG-class fuses (rating to rating) often used in the protection of drives even if they have never protected anyone against the risks of explosion when a short circuit destroying the semiconductors occurs.
